I’d like to use living soil, but need to keep the pots relatively small to stop the plants growing too big. The issue is that you cannot maintain a healthy soil ecology in small pots for very long.

The guys from livingsoilsfertiliser.com got back to me, and were very optimistic about this approach. So long as the recovery bay is tended to (it’s especially important to keep it from drying out), everything should work really well.

They said you could go as small as 7l Air Pots, with this approach.

I was convinced that fabric pots would work as well as Air Pots, then saw everyone that had any experience say the opposite, including growers and farmers, so I’m pretty much sold on the idea.
With such a valuable plant, it seems like false economy to scrimp on pots. So bloody expensive though 🙁

I haven’t used the equipment, so can only go off of reviews and stuff like that (for what it’s worth), but Spider Farmer seem to be everything that MarsHydro claims to be, but never quite lives up to.
